Joshua Tyrone Scott – Biography
Born on March 25, 1985, in Charleston, SC, and raised in Columbia, SC, Joshua Tyrone Scott was deeply influenced by his grandparents, who introduced him to church at a young age. Raised in the Baptist faith, he experienced multiple religious traditions, with his father serving as a Deacon and Armorbearer in the church.
At 12 years old, Joshua gave his life to Christ at Summerville Miracle Revival Center, guided by Apostle Larry Brown. Throughout his journey, he experienced spiritual renewal, rededicating himself to Christ multiple times. In September 2012, he fully surrendered to the Holy Spirit, restoring his faith.
On April 27, 2014, Joshua was ordained as a Deacon at A New Life Ministries and Foundation in Waynesville, MO, alongside his wife Latasha Scott and daughter Shelley. Like his father, he became Head Deacon and Armorbearer, seeing it as an Elijah-to-Elisha experience.
In 2021, Joshua accepted the call to ministry and was ordained a Minister under New Life Kingdom Assembly of Churches International on November 21st. Two years later, in March 2023, he was ordained as an Elder and installed as the Senior Pastor of A New Life Generation II Ministries.
Beyond ministry, Joshua served 13 years in the military and remains dedicated to community outreach, actively collaborating with local leaders and activists to impact lives through faith and service.
