Founded on February 2, 2022, in Cleveland, Ohio, Omega Rho Chi Fraternity & Sorority Incorporated is a Christian, faith-based fraternal and sororal organization committed to developing Kings and Queens of faith, integrity, leadership, service, accountability, and purpose.

​

From our beginning, Omega Rho Chi has been established upon a foundation of Jesus Christ, biblical principles, Christian fellowship, servant leadership, community responsibility, and lifelong brotherhood and sisterhood. Our work extends into ministry, leadership development, philanthropy, charitable service, biblical scholarship, community outreach, professional development, and fellowship.

We are two distinct branches: Fraternity and Sorority; united as one organizational family under Christ, sharing a common commitment to faith, family, service, leadership, and community transformation. The Fraternity and Sorority work together while maintaining their respective identities, traditions, leadership structures, programs, and membership experiences.

Our declaration is:

This principle means that Christ governs our character, our Constitution and Bylaws govern our organizational conduct, and service demonstrates our commitment to both.

Our Christian Foundation

Omega Rho Chi is more than a social organization. Christ is at the center of who we are. Our organizational culture is grounded in biblical truth, prayer, discipleship, accountability, Christian fellowship, servant leadership, and spiritual development.

We believe our identity in Christ must come before our titles, letters, positions, or recognition.

As Kings and Queens of Omega Rho Chi, we seek to represent Jesus Christ through both character and service.

Our Mission

Omega Rho Chi Fraternity & Sorority Incorporated exists to restore, rebuild, develop, equip, and empower men and women to fulfill their God-ordained responsibilities within their families, churches, ministries, professions, organizations, and communities.

We challenge our members to:

• Lead according to biblical principles.

• Demonstrate integrity publicly and privately.

• Serve families and communities faithfully.

• Pursue spiritual maturity and biblical scholarship.

• Develop personally and professionally.

• Practice accountability and responsible leadership.

• Mentor and empower future generations.

• Use their gifts, education, resources, and influence to benefit others.

• Represent Jesus Christ through their lives and service.

These principles expand upon the fraternity's existing mission of developing spiritually grounded, disciplined, compassionate, accountable, and responsible Christian leaders.

 

United Under Christ

Our Fraternity and Sorority may have different colors, symbols, traditions, programs, and membership experiences, but we serve the same God and advance the same Kingdom purpose.

Being united does not mean everyone will always agree. It means that when differences arise, we remain committed to our Christian foundation, organizational standards, one another, and the mission entrusted to us.

Constitutionally Bound

Membership in Omega Rho Chi carries responsibilities.

Every active member, from Founders and Executive Leadership to Chapter Officers and general members, is expected to operate according to the organization's Constitution, Bylaws, policies, procedures, established leadership structure, and approved standards of conduct.

Being constitutionally bound means we accept that organizational membership requires:

Order. Accountability. Responsibility. Communication. Discipline. Due Process. Integrity.

No member should consider himself or herself above the standards established to protect the organization.

Our governing documents help define how we operate, how leadership functions, how membership responsibilities are fulfilled, how accountability is administered, and how the integrity and continuity of Omega Rho Chi are protected.

 

Bound to Serve

Service is not merely an event on the Omega Rho Chi calendar.

Service is part of our identity.

Members are encouraged to use their time, talents, professional abilities, financial resources, education, spiritual gifts, and community relationships to positively impact others.

Our service includes areas such as

Our chapters and members are expected to identify and respond to meaningful needs within the communities where they live and serve.

Brotherhood & Sisterhood With Purpose

Wearing our colors, displaying our letters, or carrying an organizational title is not enough.

Authentic brotherhood and sisterhood require:

Faith. Trust. Accountability. Integrity. Sacrifice. Service. Discipline. Loyalty. Compassion. Responsibility.

Our Kings should help strengthen other Kings.

Our Queens should help strengthen other Queens.

And together, our Kings and Queens should strengthen the families, churches, ministries, organizations, and communities God has entrusted us to serve.

Our goal is not simply to create people who hold positions.

Our goal is to develop people who can carry responsibility.

National & International Vision

Omega Rho Chi's vision extends beyond one city, state, chapter, or country.

The organization has developed through multiple U.S. chapters and an international presence in Kampala, Uganda. The original fraternity framework identifies chapters or developing areas in Ohio, Illinois, the Southeast, Iowa, Florida, and Uganda.

Our international development reflects a larger commitment to Christian fellowship, humanitarian outreach, leadership development, community transformation, and Kingdom service beyond geographical boundaries.
