Who We Are​

Founded on February 2, 2022, in Cleveland, Ohio, home of the Omega Alpha Chapter, Omega Rho Chi Fraternity Incorporated is a Christian, faith-based fraternal organization committed to developing men of faith, integrity, leadership, service, and purpose.

​

Since its founding, Omega Rho Chi has grown into a dynamic brotherhood dedicated to community outreach, ministry, leadership development, philanthropy, charitable service, biblical scholarship, and lifelong fellowship.

Our mission extends beyond membership. We seek to make a measurable impact in families, churches, ministries, neighborhoods, educational institutions, and communities throughout the United States and abroad.

Omega Rho Chi continues to expand through chapters and developing areas including:

• Omega Alpha Chapter — Cleveland, Ohio

• Omega Beta Chapter — Chicago, Illinois

• Omega Gamma Chapter — Southeast Region

• Omega Theta Chapter — Iowa

• Omega Zeta Chapter — Florida

• Kappa Alpha Colony Chapter — Kampala, Uganda

Through every chapter, colony, and area of service, our purpose remains the same: to build men who understand their identity in Christ and their responsibility to serve others.

International Growth

On August 6, 2022, Omega Rho Chi reached a significant milestone with the establishment of the Kappa Alpha Colony Chapter in Kampala, Uganda, beginning with five members.

​

This historic expansion strengthened Omega Rho Chi's commitment to international ministry, Christian brotherhood, community development, humanitarian outreach, and servant leadership.

​

Our international presence represents more than organizational expansion. It reflects our commitment to taking the principles of faith, service, biblical leadership, brotherhood, and Kingdom responsibility beyond geographical boundaries.

We believe that Christian brotherhood can create meaningful change wherever men are willing to answer the call to serve.

Our Mission

Omega Rho Chi Fraternity Incorporated exists to restore, rebuild, develop, and empower men to fulfill their God-ordained responsibilities within their families, ministries, churches, professions, organizations, and communities.

We believe strong communities require spiritually grounded, accountable, disciplined, compassionate, and responsible men.

Our brotherhood challenges members to become men who:

• Lead according to biblical principles.

• Demonstrate integrity in private and public life.

• Serve their families and communities faithfully.

• Pursue spiritual maturity and biblical scholarship.

Omega Rho Chi is predominantly African American in heritage and membership while welcoming men of all ethnic backgrounds who embrace our Christian foundation, organizational principles, and commitment to service.

As a Christian fraternal organization rooted in the African American faith and fraternal experience, Omega Rho Chi proudly works alongside the Queens of Omega Rho Chi Sorority in advancing a shared commitment to faith, family, service, leadership, and community transformation.

Omega Rho Chi is more than a social organization.

Christ is at the center of our brotherhood.

Our organizational culture is grounded in biblical truth, Christian fellowship, prayer, discipleship, accountability, servant leadership, and spiritual development.

We seek to create an environment where men can strengthen their relationship with God while developing the character and leadership abilities necessary to serve effectively in every area of life.

Our brotherhood believes that leadership begins with identity.

Before a man can successfully lead others, he must understand who he is, Whose he is, and what God has called him to become.

Leadership Development

Omega Rho Chi prepares men to become effective leaders within their:

Families • Churches • Ministries • Careers • Businesses • Communities • Organizations

Leadership development within Omega Rho Chi emphasizes spiritual maturity, communication, accountability, emotional intelligence, conflict resolution, organizational structure, decision-making, mentorship, biblical scholarship, professional development, and servant leadership.

Our goal is not simply to create men who hold positions.

Our goal is to develop men who can carry responsibility.

Leadership within Omega Rho Chi is understood as an opportunity to serve rather than merely a title to possess.

 

Community and Collegiate Outreach

Community engagement is a central part of the Omega Rho Chi mission.

We actively support churches, ministries, families, youth organizations, educational programs, nonprofit organizations, humanitarian initiatives, and community service projects.

As Omega Rho Chi continues to grow, we are also preparing for expanded collegiate engagement and outreach.

Our vision is to create opportunities for students, faculty, staff, community leaders, and ministry partners to participate in programs centered around:

Philanthropy and Service

Service is not simply something Omega Rho Chi does.

Service is part of who we are.

Our members are encouraged to use their time, talents, professional abilities, financial resources, and community relationships to positively impact others.

Omega Rho Chi's philanthropic and community initiatives include:

Annual Blood Drives

We support blood donation initiatives, including partnerships and opportunities connected with organizations such as the American Red Cross, helping promote lifesaving blood donations within our communities.

​

Homelessness and Housing Support

Our members support homeless individuals, families, shelters, and community assistance programs through donations, volunteer service, clothing drives, hygiene initiatives, food distribution, and partnerships with organizations such as The Salvation Army and other community agencies.

​

Youth and Family Outreach

Omega Rho Chi supports programs designed to strengthen children, teenagers, young adults, parents, and families through mentorship, school-supply initiatives, educational support, hygiene distributions, holiday outreach, and community programming.

Local Community Service

Our chapters and members participate in service projects designed to address the specific needs of the communities in which they live and serve.

International Outreach

Our international mission includes supporting communities through ministry, humanitarian assistance, leadership development, Christian fellowship, educational resources, and charitable initiatives.

Charitable Giving

Members and supporters are encouraged to contribute to causes and organizations whose work positively impacts individuals, families, ministries, and communities.
