Joshua Tyrone Scott was born in Charleston, SC on March 25, 1985, and raised in Columbia SC. He grew up a very active child who spent a lot of time with his grandparents who would take him to church at a young age. He was able to experience more than one religion of Faith but was raised in the Baptist Faith. His father was a Deacon and Armorbearer of the Baptist church where he grew up. Joshua spent a lot of his childhood having encounters with God on many occasions. Joshua first gave his life to His Lord and Savior Christ Jesus when he was 12 years old in Summerville Miracle Revival Center, a Holiness Church tarrying at the altar with the prayers of Apostle Larry Brown, the father of a childhood friend. He spent some years rededicating himself back to Christ because just like most, life is not always easy and making changes is a process. In September of 2012, the indwelling of the Holy Spirit took over Joshua and allowed him to rebuild a right relationship with Christ Jesus. On April 27th of 2014, Joshua was ordained a Deacon at A New Life Ministries and Foundation in Waynesville, Missouri along with his wife Latasha Scott and oldest daughter Shelley. He also became the Head Deacon and Armorbearer just like his father; he calls it an Elijah to an Elisha experience because God has always allowed him to walk a similar path as his father Anthony Tyrone Scott. In 2021, Joshua accepted the call and was ordained a Minister under New Life Kingdom Assembly of Churches International on November 21st. He also served in the military for 13 years and serves his community through outreach programs and networking with local community leaders and activists.
